Wipro is a leading Engineering Services provider globally. Wipro is looking for a dynamic business leader with experience in direct sales of Engineering services to its North America business focusing on the Telecom Industry. Prior experience in Telecom is a must.

Role/Experience
15+ years’ experience in interfacing with customers to drive solution sales and revenue streams in Tier 1 CSPs esp. AT&T. Carried and achieved yearly book quota of $ 25M-50M in engineering services for last 5 years
Prefer prior connects in AT&T’s lab/CTO org and network organization of a CSP is preferred. Understand Network and lab organization in a Telco.
Able to understand customer IP/product portfolio proactively and craft value proposition based on Wipro Engineering offerings. Framing large deals based on unique technology design mindset.
In addition to CSP, working experience with Network Equipment Providers like Cisco, Nokia, Ericsson, Dell Networking, Palo Alto, ADTRAN, Ciena, F5 will be key. Either selling / building solutions for these as customers or be part of these organizations
Understand networking OEM technology nuances, lead conversation with engineering executives along with sales by embedding Wipro’s Engineering offerings.
Provide qualification expertise to evaluate the client’s business needs, RFI and RFP and align them based upon Wipro offerings, solution, and differentiator.
Build conceptual architecture and develop solution options that match clients’ requirements.
Track business metrics – revenue and booking – and drive YoY growth.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor of Engineering / Computer Science Engineering. MBA from reputed institute is an added advantage.
12-15 years of Industry experience with at least 5 years in sales / account management role selling engineering solutions like network engineering, AI led design, fiber engg.
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and technology areas like software, Cloud engineering, Data engineering, AI/ML etc.
Should have prior experience of selling software engineering services and delivering to quota.
Should be proficient in written and verbal communication. Should be capable of presenting proposals, offerings, solutions to customer.
Should have good problem-solving skills and should be an excellent team player.
