ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a Wireless Research Engineer specializing in 5G and AI/ML, responsible for developing and applying advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to solve complex problems in 5G wireless communications. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing AI/ML models to enhance various aspects of 5G networks, including performance, reliability, and scalability.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Conduct cutting-edge research in the application of AI/ML to 5G wireless communications.
Develop and implement AI/ML algorithms to solve real-world problems in 5G networks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing and future 5G network architectures.
Analyse and interpret complex data from 5G networks to derive actionable insights and improve network performance.
Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals, and present at industry events.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML and 5G technologies and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the company.
Mentor and guide junior researchers and engineers in the team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
D. or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Extensive knowledge and experience in the 5G wireless domain, including network architecture, protocols, and standards.
A good understanding of 3gpp standards and its framework.
Strong expertise in AI/ML techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and statistical modelling.
Experience with Python, MATLAB, or equivalent
Experience in machine learning algorithm development and state-of-the-art models (e.g., SVM, CNN, LSTM, Transformers).
Proven track record of research excellence, demonstrated through publications in reputable journals and conferences.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
