Overview
This career opportunity is within our Banking & Financial Services Consulting business unit. They focus on providing solutions that help clients re-imagine and transform their businesses. With our deep industry expertise, business process understanding and technology prowess complemented with a set of accelerators and frameworks, we help clients respond rapidly to the dynamic business environment today and also helping our clients to thrive in today’s digital world.
This is a UK based position that will work with Global Risk & Compliance domain leader to help deliver growth and scale on Risk & Compliance consulting services across Europe. The role holder will contribute to growth of the portfolio of services, strategic accounts and C-level relationships globally , while also owning general practice management activities for the regional team. The role holder will be a key partner in driving the business strategy and work with other leaders across the BFSI Domain and technology business.
Responsibilities
Growth: Work with the leadership team to help define a sound business growth strategy for Risk & Compliance. Ensure the consulting business opens new business opportunities and expands Wipro’s client positioning
Solutions: Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within Risk & Compliance space
Practice Management: Manage the team of consulting professionals based in India, including their goals & objectives, mentoring, career planning etc.
Partnerships: Define and establish products & fintechs partnerships closely working with alliance team to nurture the partnership and also with the internal stake holders within Wipro
Branding: Leverage the above to help create a strong Wipro Market Positioning for – increasing Wipro’s mindshare in the Risk & Compliance ecosystem

Who we are looking for:

Skills Required
Experience working as an SME in Financial Risk and Compliance domain and managed multiple consulting and implementation programs
Good understanding of Risk and Regulatory Compliance domain for BFSI clients – particularly focused on banking (retail and commercial)
Working Knowledge of key Risk & Compliance functions for Banks – Credit Risk, Treasury , Finance , Regulatory Compliance and reporting
Good understanding of IT delivery methodology including Agile, Scrum, Iterative etc.
Should be able to estimate / validate implementation / customization efforts of IT solutions
Ownership in Solution incubation and IP creation
Deep understanding of innovative customer models, products, services and business re-platforming strategies
Good knowledge of the market and demand including multiple engagements across geographies
Experience in consultative selling and creating client business case for value-based pitches
MBA Finance or equivalent

Proven track record of generating consulting business from new and existing accounts and have the capability to drive and lead customer relationships into multimillion-dollar engagements.
