Job Description:
The Configuration Analyst leads the team responsible for designing, configuring, testing, implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), according to business requirements, to support accurate and efficient financial processing of healthcare claims, accounts payable/receivable, one-time payments, and data reporting. This position is responsible for the setup of the chart of accounts, general ledger, integration, and data import. This position must possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to implement complex business requirements. This position serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on both internal initiatives and external customer projects that require configuration modifications within the claims processing system.
Responsibilities:
Design, Develop, Configure and Test MS Dynamics F&O configuration, chart of accounts, general ledger, accounts receivable/payable and integration to meet the needs of a healthcare claims processing system.
Analyze, configure, test, implement and maintain MS Dynamics F&O to support changes in contracts, products, legislation, policies, and procedures, ensuring timely maintenance and updates of configuration.
Working with technical teams on projects to design and implement workflows, reports, customizations, extensions, integrations, and data conversions with the D365 Finance and Supply Chain environment.
Participating and documenting design sessions with clients to ensure business process requirements translate into technical requirements, including user stories, use cases, design specifications, business process, data flows and acceptance criteria.
Being experienced in Lifecycle Services, DevOps, BPM/RSAT, Power BI, Power BI modeling, and Azure Data Lake and Analytics.
Being experienced in D365 administrative tasks and set up for users, security, email, licenses, batches, and active directory.
Understands Microsoft best practices for environment configuration and code implementation.
Understands software development lifecycle methodology.
Executing data analysis across multiple platforms using Excel, Power BI, Power BI Paginated, or other available tools.
Providing guidance to project team members on technical aspects of D365 Finance and supply chain.
Assisting with sales pursuits by participating in discovery, configuring software for demonstrations, building project plans, proposals, and participating in client presentations.
Work closely with other workstreams and provide support as needed
Experience/Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in deploying, managing and maintaining MS Dynamics F&O.
Minimum of 3 years of leading teams in implementing and integrating MS Dynamics F&O in a customer ecosystem.
Must possess working knowledge of standard financial accounting practices.
Expertise in using Microsoft Office; including Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, and Visio.
Experience working within a matrix organization. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of the customer organization.
Preferred:
Previous experience with CMS and State Medicaid Agencies
Working knowledge of healthcare/Medicaid operations
Integration of MS Dynamics F&O with claims (healthcare or otherwise) processing systems or other 3rd party applications/systems
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems preferred; demonstrated work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
