Successful candidates will be a part of EY GDS’s Transformation Design & Execution (TD&E) practice to help our clients successfully deliver business transformations by connecting strategy and execution. This career opportunity seeks individuals who not only understand the role technology plays in large scale transformations, but who have experience in designing and integrating technology and business processes to produce value driven solutions. These solutions often include multiple capabilities i.e. demand intake & prioritization, portfolio scenario planning, financial management, program/ portfolio/ transformation execution, schedule management, risk & issue management, resource management, KPI definition, performance reporting and data analytics via dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers
Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques
Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team
Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams
Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization
Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role and demonstrate Servant leadership skills
Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization
Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
Core skills
Bachelor or Master degree with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the area of Agile delivery methodologies
Experience working with Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector including knowledge of Cards, Payments, Commercial banking, Core banking, Investment banking, Capital markets, Regulatory, Wealth and Asset management (WAM) etc.
Demonstrated Agile project delivery experience including experience working in Scaled Agile frameworks, Portfolio and Product management using Agile tools, methodologies and framework (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
Knowledge of Jira / Confluence / Azure DevOps/ Trello/ Smartsheet etc. Power BI is an added advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder management skills including experience presenting to executive sponsors and to all levels of technical and non-technical staffs
Good understanding of IT landscape (infrastructure and applications) of a Bank/ Financial institution
Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies as per the project and program needs
One or more of Industry certifications – PMI – ACP, PSM, CSM, A-CSM, PSM, SAFe, CSPO
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), MS Project, MS Server
