BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree
– Advanced Knowledge in Linux systems administration
– 6+ years proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, Typescript, Ruby, to build reusable tools
– Systems engineering, site reliability experience of building and operating systems at scale
– Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production
– Experience writing technical documents, project plans and progress reports to leadership and to stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
– Experience hiring, developing and mentoring engineers
– Experience managing scaled cloud systems with a focus on operational excellence
– Experience working with high-availability, distributed systems and services
