We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead the Heavy & Bulky (H&B) Speed and Cost charter. As a part of this role, the person will drive programmatic interventions on areas such as network topology / coverage improvement, delivery / return experience improvement, fulfillment cost reduction, cost of business waste reduction etc. We are looking for an individual who shares Amazon’s passion for the customer—someone who understands the importance of compelling programs in creating superior customer and partner experience. We are looking for a leader to lead a small but high performance team, who works well with cross-functional teams of senior leaders, business managers, finance / operations / product teams, has an extremely high level of customer focus with a passion for business transformation and process improvements.
As a Senior Program Manager, Program Management you will create and implement processes that enable Amazon and partner teams to deliver a sustainable business and at the same time retain high bar on crucial customer- facing parameters. You will collaborate with category, product, finance and transportation teams teams across the company to define and execute right mechanisms in all aspects of the program. You will experiment with pilot projects to identify right process that solves long-term business problems, resolving or mitigating issues in medium term and communicating with senior leaders in the organization on the progress made.
Role and Responsibilities
• Improve overall category fulfillment (Delivery +Return) experience for H&B Shipment deliveries
• Maintain high bar on parameters that customers care about
• Identify, analyze and implement solutions across multiple teams to address issues faced by customers and partners
• Design and implement program charter to drive customer adoption for the program
• Own managing relationship with external partners and help them develop their business on Amazon.in marketplace
• Dive deep into the data to gain program insights to help drive relevance for the program
This position requires a candidate with the proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
– Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
