DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Subject Matter Expert, you will work closely with senior leadership and other internal/external stakeholders, helping them make data-driven decisions, size up problems through various analysis, convert problem statements into process improvement activities & achieve closure. The individual will interact with the business, automation & technology teams to help drive operation, deploy tools & technics and system improvements. The successful candidate should have the ability to work at all levels with an eye for detail to achieve process goals & quality, actively seeks to understand Amazon’s core values and translates those into everyday practices. The individual will also be responsible for key metrics such as WBR, QBR, ABR and own ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) – Amazon’s operating system of process excellence and culture of continuous improvement.
Key job responsibilities
1) Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies and plans.
2) Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement.
3) Develop and implement process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
4) Own and drive key business metrics that includes WBR, QBR and ABR.
5) Own ACES program (Amazon Customer Excellence System) – Amazon’s operating system of process excellence and culture of continuous improvement
6) Use data analysis to identify gaps, structure initiatives, recommend solutions and drive consensus on strategic inter-function business decisions
7) Own the communication and progress updates on multiple projects, assess performance against goals and realign internal/external stakeholders on project deliverables
About the team
The DCI Operations team engages in requirement collection, planning, feasibility analysis, testing, mapping, auditing, analyzing, and reporting to Digital Acceleration (DA) business and program management functions. We enhance services by manually constructing mappings between Amazon products and other databases/web pages, such as online repositories, competitors’ websites, social media, etc., until the process is automated, and we provide audit support to ensure accuracy after automation. We provide Digital Businesses with a variety of efficient, dependable, and adaptable services, such as new competitor identification and certification for price/selection monitoring, Marketplace analysis, Lowest Price recommendation, Widest Selection opportunity, Contractual audits, Product Correlation, and Data extraction.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience handling projects using six sigma or Lean processes
– Experience using data to influence business decisions
– 6+ Years of overall experience.
– Bachelor’s degree or higher in Operations, Business, Project Management, Engineering
– Understand basic and systematic approaches to manage projects/programs
– Excellent oral and written English skills
– Open-minded, creative and proactive thinking.
– Pioneer to invent and make differences.
– Understanding of customer experience, listening to customers’ voice and work backwards to improve business process and operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 1) Certification in 6 Sigma
– 2) Experience in advanced SQL, Python, Tableau
– 3) Dashboard creation (Tableau) to analyze opportunities, identify patterns and implement proactive solutions.
– 4) Strong Analysis using SQL/Excel/Python, Experience with automation
