The candidate should be a seasoned leader with deep digital customer marketing knowledge across a wide span of disciplines including customer acquisition, engagement, and product marketing. Candidates will have experience working cross-functionally across internal teams, and driving programs that reach millions of customers, as well as an aptitude for data analysis. A mind for innovation, thinking big, and learning through testing is highly valued. The successful candidate is detail, team, and goal-oriented. The candidate should be comfortable with numbers, high ambiguity, and consistently deliver results. Having an entrepreneurial mentality, a passion for new technologies, and the ability to influence is key.
The role will accomplish creating valuable trends through data analysis, mapping the customer journey, defining customer segments, ideating an onsite marketing plan to deliver success against key customer segments and phases. The candidate will lead a team to drive growth, build a test and learn roadmap, work with stakeholders to execute this roadmap across a variety of owned and operated channels. This role will also work closely with Prime Video’s worldwide marketing automation teams to build scale and influence global programs catering to local nuances.
Success in this role requires having the big picture, defining ambitious plans and goals, building programs and processes to scale, and operating daily at the highest level. This role provides an opportunity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever-changing business climate. This role will be based out of Mumbai.
Key job responsibilities
This is a people manager role with an opportunity to deliver through product, business and marketing teams in India. A creative bent of mind, coupled with sharp analytical skills, high ownership and customer obsession, and proven ability to influence without authority will be critical to succeed in this role.
Growth and opportunity sizing: Work backwards from customers’ needs to develop and articulate a bold vision for Amazon Prime Video’s growth and engagement in APAC.
Goal-oriented mindset: Drive core KPIs by clearly understanding different cohorts and their CX needs – establish monthly, quarterly and annual goal phasing for the businesses.
Marketing Operations: Execute the vision proposed by systematically executing a well-defined program with clarity on projects, ownership, and delivery timelines.
Business Reporting: Publish program performance through weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews
Stakeholder Management: influence senior execs across 10+ teams to support the delivery of program goals by aligning on the problems, proposed solutions, effort and timelines
Customer Experience: Simplify the CX and develop a clear onsite strategy on Amazon via a thorough experimentation [A/B Tests] roadmap.
Work experience including go-to-market launch management, onsite customer activation, engagement, and product marketing.
Experience owning creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
Ability to transform thinking quickly from high-level, strategic thinking into auditing detailed execution
Excellent communications skills to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs, and communicate plans to senior executives
Writes with laser-sharp clarity, using data to support assertions while still inspiring new thoughts and solutions
Ability to juggle a range of projects across Amazon teams balancing quality and speed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced management degree
Experience in Media & Entertainment industry

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 12+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
