DESCRIPTION
The SPS Permissions & Security team covers access control/permission management within the SPS Customer Trust organization and beyond. We ensure users have the right set of tools to do their job.
One of the key aspects of the role is owning the access management servicing for SPS Operational Business Functions. We are seeking an exceptional Permissions-focused Program Manager (PM) with demonstrated experience to support implementation of global access management and security programs while also minimizing variations and streamlining processes.
The PM will partner with compliance, security, technical, and business teams to implement global solutions to improve our security program and investigation processes. You will support multiple SPS Operational Business Functions across a large distributed team focused and determined to improve operational efficiency throughout the process life-cycle.
Program Managers lead projects for cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a new feature, service, product, or system. They gather business requirements, document functional and design specifications, identify appropriate resources needed, assemble the right project team, assign individual responsibilities, and develop the milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project
Key job responsibilities
– Manage the intake of access requests for tools and evaluate their business need to understand the right combination of permissions to provide.
– Audit existing users to ensure users only have access as long as they have business justification to do so
– Serve as a primary point of contact for questions and troubleshooting of access and platform issues
– Work with stakeholders from many different types of businesses to onboard new tool features and functionalities
– Help to define and implement access policies and security controls to raise SPS’s security bar
– Collaborate across teams and provide support for global initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– 2+ years of program or project management experience
– Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
– Ability to write Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Project Scopes, project Charters and detail Use cases
– Knowledge of program management life cycle, and skilled at project management tools
– Intermediate analytic skills
– Ability to work in a global environment and interact with global stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of program or project management experience
– Prior cyber security or auditing experience
– Prior Access Control/Permissions Management experience within Amazon
– Proven analytical aptitude, including the ability to mine and analyze large, complex data sets
– Experience working in an Operations environment, driving improvements that have resulted in measurable business impact
– Large scale project management experience in leading multi-organizational initiatives, and driving team accountability to achieve impactful goals
